I did track for all throughout high school. For my events I did 110 hurdles, high jump, 300 hurdles, 200m and sometimes the 4x4 relay and long jump. One of my favorite events was the 300 hurdles. Which I didn't do any hurdles till my junior year, because my coach wanted me to do it for the longest time. Even though before the event started I would be extremely nervous and talk to the coach to see if I could get out of doing it. But he would never let me out unless I got hurt or something.
When it came down to running them, I never came in first overall, but every once in awhile in my heat. I don't know why, but I just really enjoyed it. Like once I finished the race I felt great and a little bit exhausted. Than after that I would have to go and run the 200. Which sometimes I enjoyed doing those two back to back.
I still haven't decided on, if I want to do the track club yet. It would be good for me to do it so I could stay in shape and be meet new people, but at the same time I just don't feel like running.
